Vicki Simpson is the new Public Information Officer for the Morgan County Tourism Alliance. The Morgan County Tourism Alliance (MCTA) is responsible for the promotion of all tourism throughout Morgan County Tennessee and its surrounding areas. She brings with her an abundance of enthusiasm and eagerness in the continuing promotion of our County and its communities.
During her career, Vicki worked in the real estate industry and with nationally known nonprofits. She and her husband Mark recently moved to Morgan County leaving behind big city life where they raised their two children. They were attracted to Morgan County for the beauty of the landscapes, hiking, and a sense of community.
Vicki immediately immersed herself in the community and in supporting causes she loves. She is actively involved in her church. From her experience as a track mom and school mom enthusiast, she along with her husband organized a cross country team at the local middle school. Vicki also works in the Morgan County school system supporting nutrition for children. You can find Vicki at MoCo Brewing Project on Friday mornings where, as barista, she serves coffee to locals and tourists traveling through town. Having a love of history, Vicki volunteered at the Morgan County GHS Museum and now shares her knowledge of the county with the tourists over a cup of coffee.
In her new role, Vicki can now expand her efforts in the promotion all that Morgan County has to offer.
