The fun competition will allow community members to show off their creativity in fall themed displays while competing for cash prizes and bragging rights. The entire community can get involved by viewing the displays in-person and voting for their favorite displays in the People’s Choice category between

All votes made in person will be added to the social media contest tally, which will run concurrently on the Morgan County Tourism Alliance Official Facebook page. Entry fees are $20 for individual/family, school and non-profit participants and $40 for businesses, civic and church organizations, clubs and government offices. “The last two year’s displays really added a festive and creative element to the Courthouse Square,” event organizer George Hawver stated. “This year, we’re hoping more businesses take advantage of this opportunity to not only display their creativity but also advertise their business in a central location. It is so nice to hear the comments from people, especially children who like to get up and get their photos taken with the displays. I’m hoping for more participation this year and look forward to seeing everyone’s creativity on display.
