To fund the matching grant given by the Tennessee Department of Tourism, The County Tailgate Party and Pep Rally was held at the Courthouse Saturday October 15 . $3,024 is needed by The Alliance to match the grant given by The Tennessee State Tourism Commission. The grant money will be used to let the public beyond the boundaries of our county know the outstanding recreational offerings in Morgan County. With these funds the Alliance will be designing and printing county tourism brochures, Tennessee Mountain Laurel publicity information, developing a trade show display for regional and state functions, website and Facebook development and many more needed outreach programs.
