Morgan County Tourism Alliance

It started out as a walk through the woods during a beautiful spring day when the Mountain Laurel were blooming.  After that an idea was born!  We felt we had something so special and beautiful that people might want to come and visit and stay awhile.

 

What better way to showcase our beautiful county than to invite visitors to a special event  hosted by the Morgan County Tourism Alliance.

 

 This was 2014 and a committee was formed to have a "Mountain Laurel Walk" on the 3rd Saturday of May 2015.  By that date, we had changed our theme to "Morgan County Mountain Laurel Festival!  

 

A great start to an event that in 2016 became "The Tennessee Mountain Laurel Festival"
